Yoga Information

The unique quality of Yoga is that it concentrates on the movement of energy through the body, using asana, pranayama, concentration techniques & meditation. Over the course of a week the tutor will introduce a variety of postures (asana work), energy/ breathing exercises,  plus something unique to this tradition, will be a guided method to introduce you to meditation with relaxation techniques.


Helen Smeaton smiling at the end of one of her energising lessons.  In good weather the classes are given at of top of the resort with sweeping views across undulating farmland,  with both Troodos mountain range,  the coastline & town of Polis in background.  The clean fresh mountain air ensures a feeling of well-being whether exercising or relaxing in this special quiet place.  Perfect for Yoga practise!


Helen always watches the pupils through-out the lesson & corrects as she sees fit.
